chatgpt image codes · part 2

Product edits, book summaries, and visual explainers 🎬

Short codes for ChatGPT. Type the code, attach your photo (or name the book), and it builds the image. Nothing to install. The code is just shorthand ChatGPT reads as an instruction, so the full prompt under each code is what's really doing the work. Use the code when you want it fast, use the prompt when you want it exact.

the 11 codes

The 11 codes I showed 🎬

1. /Microscopic — Zooms into a photo with magnified detail call-outs: fabric, skin, metal, texture.

📋 code 01 · /Microscopic
/Microscopic — Keep this photo exactly as it is. Add 5–6 circular magnified call-outs around the edges, each connected by a thin white line to a point on the subject. Each call-out shows an extreme macro close-up of that spot: fabric weave, skin texture, zipper metal, embossed leather, hair strands. Photorealistic macro detail, consistent lighting with the original, clean white circle borders. Editorial product-detail layout.

2. /Cutaway — Slices a product open to show what's inside.

📋 code 02 · /Cutaway
/Cutaway — Keep the packaging and branding exactly as in the attached photo. Remove a vertical quarter-section of the container so the interior is visible, like a technical cutaway illustration. Show the contents stacked realistically inside. Clean white studio background, soft shadow, photorealistic, product-render quality.

3. /Isometric — Turns a straight-on photo of a building into an elevated 3D-style angle.

📋 code 03 · /Isometric
/Isometric — Re-render this building from an elevated isometric angle (roughly 30° above, 45° to the side) so the roof, facade and driveway are all visible. Keep the architecture, materials, lighting and landscaping identical to the original photo. Evening light, warm interior glow, photorealistic architectural visualisation.

4. /Mindmap — One book, one branching diagram.

📋 code 04 · /Mindmap
/Mindmap — Create a clean mind map of the book "[BOOK TITLE]" by [AUTHOR]. Central node: the book title. 4–6 main branches for the core concepts, each with 2–3 short sub-points. Minimal line icons on each branch, warm cream background, one accent colour, thin connecting curves, modern infographic style. All text must be legible and correctly spelled.

5. /Sketchnotes — Hand-drawn visual notes of a book.

📋 code 05 · /Sketchnotes
/Sketchnotes — Create a hand-drawn sketchnote summary of "[BOOK TITLE]" by [AUTHOR]. Title in bold marker lettering in the centre. 6–7 key ideas arranged around it, each with a short handwritten heading, 2–3 bullet points and a small doodle illustration. Yellow highlighter accents, purple arrows connecting ideas, black marker text, cream paper background. Playful but readable.

6. /Transparent — Cuts the subject out and drops it onto a new background, with lighting that matches.

📋 code 06 · /Transparent
/Transparent — Cut out the subject from this photo cleanly, including fine hair and edge details. Place them on [NEW BACKGROUND: e.g. a blurred Paris street in autumn / plain white]. Match the lighting direction, colour temperature and shadows to the new background so it looks like one real photo, not a composite. Keep the subject's pose, outfit and face unchanged.

7. /Flashcards — Turns a book into a study sheet.

📋 code 07 · /Flashcards
/Flashcards — Design a set of 6 study flashcards for "[BOOK TITLE]" by [AUTHOR], laid out in a 2×3 grid on one page. Each card: a number, a bold key idea as the heading, a one-line explanation, a small line icon, then a Q: and A: pair underneath. Elegant serif headings, muted green accents, cream background, thin card borders. Title at the top: "Study Flashcards – [BOOK TITLE]".

8. /Educationalcomics — Book lessons as a retro comic poster.

📋 code 08 · /Educationalcomics
/Educationalcomics — Create a 9-panel educational comic poster based on "[BOOK TITLE]" by [AUTHOR]. Bold title banner at the top. Each panel: a number, a short lesson heading, a vintage-style illustration of a person acting out that lesson, and a 1–2 line caption underneath. Retro propaganda-poster palette (navy, red, gold), screen-print texture, consistent character style across panels.

9. /Onepagesummary — The whole book on one poster.

📋 code 09 · /Onepagesummary
/Onepagesummary — Create a one-page visual summary of "[BOOK TITLE]" by [AUTHOR]. Huge bold title at the top, subtitle "A one-page summary". A central icon representing the book's core idea, with 4–6 key takeaways arranged around it, each with a simple flat icon, a bold heading and a one-sentence explanation. Flat vector infographic style, two-colour palette (one bold background colour, one dark text colour), high contrast, poster layout.

10. /Poster — A product photo becomes a campaign poster.

📋 code 10 · /Poster
/Poster — Turn this product photo into a premium advertising poster. Keep the product and its branding exactly as shown. Dramatic dark background with a colour wash that matches the product, bold headline at the top in a tall serif font, product in the centre with splashes, droplets or ice for energy, a one-line tagline at the bottom in small spaced capitals. Cinematic lighting, reflections on the surface, 4:5 ratio.

11. /Bestquotes — A quote card in the style of the book cover.

📋 code 11 · /Bestquotes
/Bestquotes — Using the attached book cover as the visual style reference, create a quote card with the same colours, typography and illustration motif. Centre a short, original reflective line inspired by the book's theme (do not copy text from the book) in elegant serif type, with the cover's illustration element beneath it and a small attribution line at the bottom. Keep the cover's framing and border style.

the rules

Rules I'd follow 🔑

  • Codes are interpreted, not installed. Same code can give different results each time. When you need a matched set, paste the full prompt instead.
  • Codes stack. /Transparent /Poster cuts the subject out and builds the poster in one go.
  • Lock the product. For edits, always add "keep the product and branding exactly as shown" or ChatGPT will redraw it.
  • Name the book, don't upload it. For book codes, the title and author are enough. The cover photo helps for /Bestquotes style matching only.
  • Spell-check the output. Text-heavy visuals (mind maps, flashcards, summaries) can misspell words. Ask for a fix or regenerate.
  • Your own products and photos. Use these on things you own or have permission to use. Famous packaging and book covers were just my demo.
